Why is the S.C.B.A unique?

• Balanced teams with man-to-man defense emphasized.

• High School officials who, both call and explain fouls and violations for the player's benefit.

• Separate girls’ leagues and boys’ leagues will be offered.

• Focus our players on good sportsmanship & basic fundamentals

 

How are the different divisions decided?
We basically divide the players by “grade level” but reserve the right to move a player to a younger or older age group. Occasionally we combined grade levels in periods of low enrollment. Division D: Grades 1 & 2 with the exceptional kindergarten age player. Division C: Grades 3 & 4; Division B Grades 5 & 6 ; Division A Grades 7 & 8 and High School Division( Not offered in all sessions,

Basic Fee Structure: $200.00 for a player with a SCBA jersey; $225.00 for a player needing a new jersey. etc. What is "Team Balancing?" "Re-Evaluation" of all teams will be made after the first two league games. If the league's talent level is not fairly balanced, players WILL be shifted. Hopefully, we can accomplish this All players who register will agree to "team balancing." When we pick up our jersey, new players will pick their jersey before the clinic. S.C.B.A. has donated over $200,000.00 to Morgan Hill programs in our 26 years of existence.
